About OPIC & OPIE
OPIC (Optics and Photonics International Congress) is an international congress covering optical science and technologies, and OPIE (Optics and Photonics International Exhibition) is an international exhibition of light-related industries. These two events are held concurrently in Yokohama, Japan, annually in spring. OPIC is now the largest photonics-related congress in Japan.
The OPIC is organized by the OPI Council that is co-founded in 2012 by the Laser Society of Japan and other photonics-related societies in Japan. The Laser Society of Japan is also organizing the flagship-conference such as ALPS (Advanced Laser and Photon Sources), and running the Laser EXPO exhibition.
